May 9, 2024, 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. ET/10 a.m. – 11 a.m. PT

Who?
Shannon P Burton, MSN, AGACNP, SCRN

Why?

In this session, you will be provided an overview of posterior circulation stroke. Posterior circulation stroke can often go undetected given low stroke scales and little to no limb weakness. We will discuss anatomy, review intracranial imaging, and investigate stroke syndromes commonly seen in posterior circulation strokes. Participants will be engaged through case studies and interactive polling.

Objectives:

  1. Discuss epidemiology of Posterior Circulation Stroke (PCS)
  2. Review vascular anatomy
  3. Examine stroke etiologies
  4. Discuss common presentations according to vascular distribution
  5. Interpret imaging findings associated with PCS

Important: Due to changes in the compliance policy, a $10 fee will be charged for receiving a CE. Attendees can view the webinar for free.
